The Hollis Small Business Guild has established the Local Small Business Scholarship to support Hollis residents who are starting and growing businesses in our community.
We understand that launching a business is a significant financial undertaking. For entrepreneurs who are just getting started, application fees—such as the $1,250 Conditional Use Permit application fee—can create a substantial financial burden.
To help reduce that barrier, members of the Hollis Small Business Guild have come together to provide financial assistance to qualifying resident-owned businesses. Hollis residents starting a small business in town may apply for help covering the $1,250 Conditional Use Permit application fee. Residents starting a qualifying home occupation business may apply for assistance with the $100 application fee.
Our goal is to make it easier for local entrepreneurs to establish roots, invest in Hollis, and contribute to the strength and character of our community.
